This blog has surrounded all things lactose intolerance. Of course, milk is a major component of lactose intolerance. Even though this blog is all about helping those who are lactose intolerant by giving people tips, tricks, and information, I believe people who are not lactose intolerant should stop drinking milk and stop consuming dairy products.
One of the reasons why people should stop drinking dairy products is because biologically some of us become sensitive to dairy as we grow older. This happens because our small intestine gradually stops producing lactase enzymes. Naturally when people become sensitive to dairy, they tend to stop eating whatever made them feel sick such as ice cream or milk. After someone stops consuming dairy, their tolerance to it becomes less and less.
A second reason why individuals should stop consuming dairy is that there are several diseases linked to the excessive consumption of milk. According to T. Colin Campbell Center for Nutrition Studies, diseases that are linked to the consumption of milk include Type I diabetes, constipation, ear infections, asthma, irritable bowel syndrome, Crohn’s disease, and skin problems such as hives, rashes, acne, dermatitis, and eczema.
